Valentino's Family Restaurant

Great choice for a meal with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The creamy pumpkin pasta was absolutely delicious and generously portioned. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the welcoming vibe.

First time in Tasmania and we really did choose the best restaurant to eat at on our way through devonport. All of the food came from the kitchen piping hot and extra delicious. I was impressed with how quickly our meals were brought out too, as it was pretty busy also with take aways. Staff were lovely, the atmosphere and restaurant was beautifully clean. If I could rate higher than the 5 stars, I would've. Thank you to all the staff and cooks for making my anniversary dinner perfect ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not a bad place to dine, staff were excellent! Food though was just ok, added chicken to a pizza and every piece on the underside was black, picked those off and rest of pizza ok. Chicken snitty and Bolognese were on point tho. Def worth a visit.

Was looking for a place to have dinner tonight and accidentally stumbled on this place. Went on and the atmosphere was comforting, but with energy. Immediately seated, got water and drinks quickly sorted. Ordered pizza with the lot and green beans with feta and pancetta. Food arrived in about 15 mines. Pizza was some of the best I'd had and the beans were tasty as a side. Food was filling- couldn't finish the small pizza and the beans although I wish I could have. Great service, friendly and attentive!

Pizza had lots of topping, with a thick base, but was not super cheesy. If this is what you like you would really enjoy this pizza. If you want a traditional thin base with less toppings and more cheese it’s not the place for you.

I'm not sure if an Italian would consider this to be authentic Italian food, but heck my family had a pretty enjoyable dining experience here. Pizza, pork ribs and even spaghetti were flying across our tables as the 6 of us shared a fairly good spread of food. The ribs stood out for being well marinated and tender. The tiramisu was pretty good too. Service was friendly and efficient. In fact we were planning to return for a 2nd Italian night until some last minute changes thwarted our plans.

Enjoyed the pizza and pasta, we ordered meat d'lish, volcano and hawaiaan small pizzas and carbonata and seafood pasta main size. Very, very generous portion size and tasty. We feel it is a very home-cooked feel dishes and absolutely loved them. I personally like the carbonara pasta (the bacon was not salty but still tasty with the whole fish). My daughter loves how much pineapple there are on the hawaian pizza. We ordered volcano (hot) and it is really hot! (Not stingy at all with their jalapenos). The pizza base is a thicker version but not chewy, they are fluffy. Very polite and friendly customer service who took our order very promptly and came back to check how was our meal. The venue was large enough and bright! Thank you for feeding us a lovely meal last night

I ordered spaghetti napolitana and garlic bread. I am Italian Australian, l live in Melbourne and l was in Tasmania for work. I hadn't eaten an Italain meal in a while. I was hungry and drove past, I saw the Italian flag and gavin it a try. I'm glad l did, it was really nice just lik my Mother used to make. I enjoyed my meal. I used my garlic bread to soak up the left over sauce. The picture speaks for itself.
